I germinate my Haworthia seeds under LED lights in the house, temperatures are 18-25 it depends on the day hour. I keep my sowing soaked in the water nearly 24/7 for first couple moths - I´m too lazy to moist them every day. Huminidity - I keep them for first couple weeks/1-2 months closed in the plastic box (as displayed in the article), so the humidity inside the box must be very high, but I never measured it...Kubahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16762866697579708281noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8483402515949305937.post-14813888102565448942021-05-10T04:33:26.517+02:002021-05-10T04:33:26.517+02:00Hello, I have a question regarding the cultivation...Hello, I have a question regarding the cultivation method, I am trying to automate in such a way that the humidity, light, temperature and ventilation are correct. On the ground of one of the kloof, where they grow high up on the slopes, we saw several broken parts of rosettes and leaves with few plantlets comming... but definitelly it isn't as easy as with rest of the genus. Thanks for comment, I will update the article. I guess large nursery propagate them by tissue culture. However, the plantlets seem smaller than those produced from large-leafed species. They grow slowly. The time it takes for plantlets to appear, for all species, is my biggest challenge. The plantlets appear on the unerside and are heavily shaded, so I flip the leaf on its other side to expose the plantlets. Is it the same challenge with commercial growers? How do they manage to produce a great number of plants in an economicaly-viable way?Christmas Snowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00272187289420166314noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8483402515949305937.post-46522566681639505922017-09-15T21:52:34.301+02:002017-09-15T21:52:34.301+02:00to Christmas Snow: I never heard of anybody use it...to Christmas Snow: I never heard of anybody use it on Haws or Gasterias. Let the plant dry for a couple days. then prepare the soil and pot the plant!
