Haworthia viscosa 'variabilis' I.Breuer

variabilis: because of its variable leaf lenght.

H. viscosa 'variabilis' is species from viscosa komplex. It was described by I.Breuer because of its extreme variability of leaf lenght. In nature it grows like other viscosa species, exposed od stony slopes and forms small clusters. 


Distribution map
It is known from Joubertskraalrivier, NE of Joubertina. At Brandekraal it grows together with H. fasciata and you can see many hybrids around, which resembles a little bit H. longiana.

H. viscosa 'variabilis' in cultivation is little bit more difficult than normal viscosa, but once it etsablished, than it grows fine. Propagation by offsetts.
