Haworthia pringlei C.L.Scott
pringlei: for Victor Pringle.
Haworthia pringlei is glabrous species from cooperi/blackberadiana group. Leaves are acuminate, lanceolate with occasional small teeth on margins and keel. The colour is bluish green. It can be slowly proliferous. It is an element which is closely related to H. blackbeardiana, H. pilifera, H. cooperi and H. aristata.
H. pringlei grows E. Somerset East and around Ripon. Nearby is growing H. cooperi, H. pilifera and H. aristata. It is not growing withdrawn in the soil like H. pilifera, that´s why it resembles more H. cooperi in the way of growing.
H. pringlei is not difficult species. Propagation should be done by seeds or offsetts.
