marmorata: refers to its leave texture
H. marumiana ‘marmorata’ is small, clump forming species. It is characteristic by its distinctive leave texture. It has dark green colour, margins and keel with small teeths. It is known only from one mountain Tierberg, NE of Prince Albert. It grows on SW extreme edge of marumiana complex distribution range. It occurs high up on the slopes in crevices and below the bushes.
