Near Paddafontein, where Haworthia nigra is growing.



Paardepoort - almost in full sun light are growing huge clusters of Haworthia glauca. Nearby is Haworthia decipiens var. minor located.




On the way to Kirkwood, in very dense and high bushes, is growing Haworthia sordida (form with very long leaves).


Near Hankey, on hill slope are growing huge clusters of Haworthia longiana. In that part, which was fenced, all plants were eaten by some domestic animals - may be goats....

Kouga Dam (or Paul Sauer Dam) - locality of Gasteria ellaphiae, Gasteria glauca, Haworthia viscosa and Haworthia "isabellae". Very very steep slopes - it took long time to get up and very short time to get back down.

Swartwaterpoort, west from Alicedale. Unaccessible place. Haworthia cymbiformis var. obtusa, Haworthia coarctata and Gasteria doreeniae are growing here.

Helspoort, NW from Grahamstown. Nice form of Haworthia caerulla (gracilis) is growing here.

Plants are unbelievable well hidden among moss in rock crevices. Only leave tips are visible.

In Kiwane we can find Haworthia leightonii. This species is growing in full sun.

Near Paynes Hill is type locality of Haworthia davidii and Haworthia reinwardtii is also find nearby...
